Our Charter 1 Flight #SY8652 is scheduled for arrival in Atlanta at approx. 12:30 pm. ***PLEASE NOTE that this time has changed from previous communication. Please make sure you are aware that you need to be at the Atlanta Airport to pick up your student at 12:30 pm.

CHARTER 2 Arrival - Friday April 7th

Our Charter 2 Flight #VPX8573 is scheduled to arrive in Atlanta at approx. 1:20 pm. Please make sure you are aware that you need to be at the Atlanta Airport to pick up your student at 1:20 pm.

 

Important information

Please go over the packing list with your students again. Some key reminders …

  • You MUST pack bedding for this trip (sheets, sleeping bag, pillow, etc)

  • The dress code still applies on travel days — no tank tops, leggings, or short shorts allowed.

  • Please pack extra spending money in small bills.

 

Safety

Here are some safety tips we went over with students. It would be great to remind them of these things!

  • DO NOT drink Dominican tap water. When brushing your teeth, please use your water bottle.

  • DO NOT pet or handle any stray animals in the Dominican.

  • DO NOT flush toilet paper down the toilet in the Dominican. (We have affectionately begun to call it “trash can paper”).

 

Technology

Here are some reminders about technology:

  • Please make sure your student brings a watch. (Keep in mind, they will NOT be allowed to use their Apple Watches).

  • Please make sure your student packs a flashlight.

  • Disposable cameras are welcome! If students want to take pictures on the trip, we will allow disposable cameras.

 

BIG NEWS!

Your students may have told you, but we are now getting to spend one of our days at the beach! Please make sure your student packs a modest one-piece, towels, and plenty of sunscreen!
