We Made It!

After what seems like the longest travel day ever… WE ARE FINALLY IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC! Students are getting settled into their bunks, eating some much needed hot dogs, and exploring our INCREDIBLE accommodations. It could not get any better - and we are so grateful!

Student have already learned the importance of flexibility on a mission trip — we had many hours of flight delays today, but they handled it with positive attitudes and grace. Even our flight attendants noticed and commented on how kind and polite our students handled themselves. You should be proud!

Tonight we are planning a special time of prayer within our family groups. Would you be praying along with us?

Pray…

• that the Lord would move in the hearts of our students and that they would want to serve Him faithfully this week

• for our students to step into their greater purpose - bringing glory to God and telling others about His great love

• for our students to be well rested, well hydrated, and strengthened as we go out into the community in the days to come
