Day Two in the DR!

Day 2 has come and gone, and as I write this, students are enjoying chicken fingers and pasta for dinner — what a treat! :)

We started the morning with worship, as we heard from Rhett Morgan about the truth that nothing but Jesus can fully satisfy us.

After worship, we left for Costa Carribe — a beach resort where students got to swim in beautiful blue waters, play volleyball with their friends, and enjoy tons of food at the buffet! Suffice it to say, our students enjoyed some time to relax after our long travel day yesterday.

This trip is special, as we are walking through the events of Holy Week culminating with Jesus’s death on the cross. Tonight, Logan will be walking through the events of Palm Sunday. We will be looking at Matthew 21:1-11 if you want to follow along with us.

And the crowds that went before him and that followed him were shouting, ‘Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest!’
— Matthew 21:9

Students are excited to start going out to ministry sites tomorrow. Will you be praying that the take every opportunity to bring glory to the name of Jesus? Would you pray that they would have the burden, opportunity, and boldness to share the Good News of Jesus?
